The Local Power of Energy, The Control of the Future
It is a DC Power Supply System used in MV Switching Facilities to meet the DC requirements of SCADA devices, measurement, protection, and MV switching equipment in the event of a power outage.
Designed with current and voltage regulators to ensure optimal battery charging, the BR 2407 consists of a charging unit and 2 batteries. These batteries are maintenance-free, non-gassing "VRLA" types with a 12V nominal voltage and 6 cells, featuring connection terminals with cross-sections suitable for their maximum current and capable of operating in any position.
The batteries, which are resistant to "Deep Discharge," are set to a value of 2.25V per cell at 20°C. For a 12-cell battery configuration, the output voltage is 27.1VDC.
To provide DC rectification voltage and isolate the protection system from the grid at a level of 2KV 5mA, a copper-wound transformer with "Class H" temperature ratings is utilized.
No explosion hazard.
Recharge capability after deep discharge.
5-year expected battery life under normal operating conditions.
Low Self-Discharge rate (3% of total capacity per month).
Smooth discharge curves.
No gas production during rapid charging.
