It is a Voltage Indicator used in the cubicles of MV Switching Facilities to indicate whether energy is present on the busbar. The KGS 03 allows for Phase-Phase and Phase-Ground voltage measurements via the voltage measurement terminals located on the front panel, and the voltage of each phase can be monitored individually through the LEDs on the front face. To protect against overvoltages that may occur in the system, a "surge arrester" is integrated within the KGS 03.

Designed in accordance with the IEC 61243-5 standard, the KGS 03 continuously monitors the busbar voltage and lights its LEDs when $U > 10\% U_n$. When $U < 10\% U_n$, the LEDs are turned off. It is produced for different voltages based on the capacitance values of the Capacitive Voltage Divider Insulators. These values must be specified prior to ordering.
