The SIL-G is a comprehensive Protection and Control Relay used in primary and secondary distribution networks for both Feeder and Generator applications.

This relay is capable of operating with current, voltage, power, and frequency functions, making it suitable for application at substation levels for TEDAŞ, TEİAŞ, EÜAŞ, the renewable energy sector, and industrial electrical systems in other sectors. Since it operates with an auxiliary power supply ranging from 24 – 230 V DC/AC, it can be utilized in installations with various voltage levels.

The SIL-G supports IEC 61850 Edition 1 and 2, facilitating interoperability with other systems in HSR and PRP redundancy networks via Copper or Fiber Optic connections, and implements GOOSE messaging for the automation and control of substations.

It is adaptable from basic applications to the most complex scenarios where a significant number of I/Os are required. As a complete solution, it includes a dedicated module for Arc Flash Detection (AFD) with integrated sensors.

The SIL-G guarantees accurate time synchronization using SNTP or IRIG-B protocols, allowing it to operate across different network levels. The new SIL-G family is safe and secure, implementing Wi-Fi with WPA2-AES encryption and secure access levels. This allows engineers and technicians to operate the device even from outside the facility, avoiding potential risks.

Furthermore, the SIL-G offers islanding protection by identifying wave changes based on voltage and frequency elements in coordination with Active and Reactive Power Control. Thanks to its vector shift function, it prevents severe damage to the generator.
